A member of the Employment Law team, Katarzyna is currently doing her post-graduate doctor of laws programme at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, and is an advocate trainee at the District Bar Council in Warsaw.

Katarzyna serves Polish and foreign businesses with advice on employment law and social insurance law, including with respect to documentation concerning the relationship between the employer and employees, hiring foreigners in Poland, employment and managerial contracts, non-competition agreements, work regulations and remuneration rules. She also supports clients in employment and social insurance due diligence projects.

As a member of the team advising clients in civil and criminal proceedings, Katarzyna participates in developing dispute resolution strategies, drafting pleadings and representing clients in court.

She also has experience in projects involving personal data protection issues.

Selected experience

  • Advised on employment law matters and co-drafted a due diligence report for one of the major energy businesses in Poland;
  • Advised on an employment dispute, drafted pleadings and co-ordinated a case against a company belonging to a media group in Poland (one of the largest press publishers, radio and TV broadcasters and internet site owners);
  • Advised Poczta Polska on employment law and public procurement law matters in material proceedings before the National Appeals Chambers;
  • Advised in the process of residence legalisation and obtaining work permits by future employees of a global pharmaceutical company.
