WKB’s public procurement team advised the consortium of GE Power and Alstom Power Systems on the conclusion of a contract for the construction of Ostrołęka C Power Plant, currently the largest project of this type in Poland, and most likely the last coal-fired power plant built on Polish soil.

WKB Wierciński, Kwieciński, Baehr advised PKO BP Group during the merger process of two investment fund companies – PKO TFI and Gamma TFI (previously KBC TFI), which was entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register at the beginning of June.

Lawyers from the Public Procurement team have successfully represented the TOTO/ICM consortium before the Regional Court in Szczecin, challenging the decision of the National Appeal Chamber regarding the selection of the most advantageous tender in a public contract award procedure for the construction of a tunnel under the Świna River. Consequently, the TOTO/ICM consortium has good prospects of being awarded a public contract for the implementation of one of the most challenging construction projects of recent years in Poland.
