WKB lawyers supported one of the first search funds in Poland in its acquisition of three entities from the ForMeds group, a manufacturer of dietary supplements.

The fund was set up for Novastone Capital Advisors – an entity established by the Single Family Offices consortium and engaged in an ‘Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition’ programme, which connects investors with, so-called, ‘searchers’, who find and invest in growing local companies on behalf of investors.

WKB supported Novastone Capital Advisors at each stage of the process, from establishing the search fund itself to assisting with investor relations, conducting due diligence in respect of Formeds, as well as negotiating and preparing the transaction documentation.

WKB’s team was led by Anna Kratiuk and Ben Davey from M&A team, and its key members were Sebastian Woźniak (M&A), Katarzyna Wójcikowska (corporate law and corporate governance team) and Łukasz Czekański (head of WKB’s tax law team), with support from a broad team of lawyers during the due diligence process: Igor Socha, Piotr Popielarski, Piotr Gajek, John Kędzierski, Aleksandra Krzywańska, Zuzanna Błachno, Aleksandra Burdę-Kiryłło, Aleksandra Jusik, Julia Jewgraf, Marta Pałyga, Marta Wasik, Karolina Kornelak and Tomasz Feliszewski.
