WKB Wierciński, Kwieciński, Baehr law firm advised Baltic Green I sp. z o.o., being a part of the KGAL Group, at the stage of contractor selection for the Wind Farm Kąty (Krasin) project in Poland. Our support consisted in preparation of a “tailored fit” contract draft for the Balance of Plant, participation in a few rounds of negotiations, including a counter mark-up of the Balance of Plant contract, and supervision of the signing process with the preferred bidder.

The project was awarded to a consortium of two well-known contractors, i.e. Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Drogowo-Inżynieryjnego S.A. and P&Q sp. z o.o. The Kąty (Krasin) Wind Farm will be located in the Pasłęk commune, around 80 km south-east of Gdańsk, and will have installed capacity of 35.2 MW generated by 16 Vestas turbines. The turbine supplier contract has already been concluded and the construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2020, with taking-over of the works in spring 2022.

WKB’s team was led by Marta Midloch, who was supported by Agata Kukawka and Aneta Citko (with respect to infrastructure matters), Maciej Szambelańczyk (in regard to energy matters), Jakub Pokrzywniak and Marek Prętki (with respect to insurance matters).
