WKB acted for Accel-KKR, a leading global software investment fund, on the Polish aspects of the acquisition of a majority stake in Symfonia Sp. z o.o.

Accel-KKR has made more than 100 investments globally, including in North America, Europe, Latin America, Australia and Asia. With four global offices in the US, Europe and Mexico, the firm focuses on investing in mid-market software and technology-enabled services companies. The fund has $19 B in committed capital.

Symfonia is a leader in Poland in the development and provision of payroll, ERP and financial management software for SMEs. In March 2021 Symfonia became a portfolio entity of Mid-Europa, a leading private equity firm in Central Europe.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close still in 2023.
