Magdalena focuses on Polish and EU consumer protection law. She is a member of the Competition and Consumer Law Team.
Before joining the firm, Magdalena gained hands-on experience in public administration, where she handled cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union. She prepared litigation positions and represented the Polish Government in numerous preliminary ruling proceedings concerning civil law and consumer protection – particularly matters involving the financial services sector. She also took part in transposing key EU directives into Polish law, including CCD2, EmpCo, CRD, and the directive on distance contracts for financial services.
Magdalena holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Warsaw and completed postgraduate studies in consumer protection law at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
