WKB’s competition team represented the French aerospace company Safran Aircraft Engines SAS and the German entrepreneur MTU Aero Engines AG in proceedings before the Polish competition authority, the Urząd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów (UOKiK), concerning clearance for a joint venture. The companies decided to jointly lead the development, production and after-sales support of the engine that will power the next-generation combat aircraft, developed within the Future Combat Air System program (FCAS).

The President of the Polish competition authority granted unconditional clearance for the joint venture on 8 February 2021.

Both companies were represented before the UOKiK by WKB’s competition team, including Aleksander Stawicki, Wojciech Kulczyk and Anna Bryńska.
