WKB assisted Polskie ePłatności, one of the leaders in the domestic cashless payment market, in the acquisition of 100% of shares in PayUp Polska (a managing network of payment terminals installed in retail stores throughout the country) from Eurocash. This is a step forward in the buyer’s efforts to “become the vice-leader” on the Polish e-payment market.
FIRST ELECTRIC-POWERED BUSES AND CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE TAKE TO THE ROAD IN POZNAŃ WITH WKB’S SUPPORT
On 14 December 2018, Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne w Poznaniu (MPK Poznań) signed an agreement with Solaris Bus & Coach for the supply of 21 electric-powered buses. This public procurement contract, along with one awarded in September for the installation of charging infrastructure, are the key elements of a project aimed at improving the ecological credentials of MPK Poznań’s fleet, implemented with WKB’s assistance.
Dr hab. Andrzej Wierciński, a co-founder of WKB, is among those members of the legal community distinguished by being awarded the title of “Lawyer of the last 30 years”, for their outstanding contributions to the growth of the legal profession in Poland during this transformative period of Polish history, by a jury under the auspices of the Polish Union of Legal Employers (PZPP) and Rzeczpospolita, a national daily.
