Power of Storytelling II – How to strategically navigate complex civil proceedings by building credible narratives
Data: 26 November 2026
Godzina: 09:30-12:30 (3h)
Forma spotkania: in person
Topic: How to handle a civil dispute so that the proceedings do not become an end in themselves, but rather a tool for resolving the client’s problem?
During the second edition of the Power of Storytelling event, experts from WKB Lawyers and invited guests will demonstrate how to manage a case from the first signs of risk, through the decision to escalate, all the way to mediation and settlement. We’ll discuss how to maintain consistency at each of these stages—from facts and documents to litigation arguments and settlement negotiations. Consistency across these stages enhances the credibility of your position and strengthens the client’s standing.
You will learn:
- when negotiations are no longer sufficient and it is worth turning to litigation tools to break the deadlock;
- how to manage a dispute so that subsequent actions—within the organization, in court, and in discussions with the other party – reinforce the same, consistent narrative;
- how to assess when a case is ripe for settlement and which mediation model best suits its nature;
- how AI can support the review and organization of large document sets, and where the judgment of an experienced attorney remains crucial.
Why You Should Attend:
- you’ll view the dispute more broadly than just through the lens of the proceedings themselves – as a process that can be consciously managed from the initial decisions through to a settlement;
- you’ll learn about approaches used in complex, multi-threaded, and multi-jurisdictional disputes, including examples from specific cases;
- you’ll compare your own experiences with the perspectives of lawyers handling disputes on behalf of law firms and experts working on international proceedings;
- you’ll leave the session with practical tips that can be applied both when a dispute is just on the horizon and when it’s already underway.
