GreenVolt Power has successfully signed preliminary agreements for the sale of shares in companies developing renewable energy projects to Energa Wytwarzanie S.A. The transaction includes the hybrid project Sompolno (wind farm and photovoltaic farms) and Opalenica (photovoltaic farms), with a total capacity of 58.6 MW.

GreenVolt Power is a major international wind & solar developer operating in more than 15 countries and with a total pipeline of 6.7 GW.

Energa Wytwarzanie is part of Energa Group, one of Poland’s four largest energy companies and one of Poland’s three largest electricity suppliers.

WKB lawyers provided comprehensive transactional legal support during the auction process, including review of NDAs, NBOs, drafting and negotiating PSPAs, and other transaction documentation.

The M&A team was led by Małgorzata Studniarek, assisted by Mateusz Malinowski, and supervised by Grzegorz Godlewski.

The value of the transaction is set at €107 million, and the closing of the transaction is conditional on the fulfilment of the conditions precedent specified in the agreements.
