WKB advised Joyson Electronics, one of the top component suppliers for global automotive manufacturers, being part of a Chinese consortium with Hong Kong-based private equity firm PAG, on the Polish aspects of a $1.6 billion acquisition of the global assets of Takata Corporation.
WKB lawyers provided Joyson Electronics with comprehensive legal advice regarding Polish jurisdiction and the acquisition of shares in Takata Parts Polska. WKB advised the client on due diligence of Takata’s Polish business, negotiation of the share purchase agreement under Polish law, and the preparation of the remaining aspects of the transaction.
