The Management Board of the Polish Olympic Committee has re-appointed Jan Roliński, a partner at WKB, as an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) at the Polish Olympic Committee. He will serve as an arbitrator of the Court for the period 2020-2023, as the second consecutive term.

The CAS is composed of 24 arbitrators appointed by the Management Board of the Polish Olympic Committee. The main responsibility of the CAS is the task of settling disputes resulting from appealing against the final disciplinary decisions of the Polish sports associations. Its mission is to protect the rights of parties to disciplinary proceedings, to prevent possible abuse and to ensure compliance with the provisions of law by the disciplinary bodies of Polish sports associations, as well as to help develop the Polish sports law.

The CAS is also a permanent court of arbitration acting under the provisions of the Polish Code of Civil Procedure.
