Career

We are a Polish law firm with international reach. For over 20 years, we have been building WKB Lawyers, believing in the value of partnership-based collaboration. We work as a team based on open communication and create an environment where experience meets imagination and ethusiasm for development.

Why us?

We take values seriously

Respect and trust are our standard, not an empty slogan. We have clearly defined rules and procedures that organize our daily work with space for initiative and independence, and provide a sense of stability.

We offer an individual training budget

It gives leeway for your individual development pathway and allows you to invest in the competencies most needed at a given moment. The individual budget can be utilized independently of training organized by our firm or industry conferences.

We care about you

We know that working at a law firm requires care for well-being. We offer access to private medical care, psychological consultations, and initiatives supporting health: from webinars to educational activities to internal communication.

We invest in skills that matter

We offer access to training, opportunities to learn foreign languages, business trips abroad, and collaboration with our business partners in Poland and overseas. We support individual career paths. Development does not have to be a multi-year process for us, but rather a response to readiness and competencies.

We know that working together is not everything

Beyond our projects, we care about relationships and a good atmosphere. We organize team-building trips, sports initiatives, and team events. The firm also boasts a participatory budget decided on by the employees themselves.

We create a team of interesting people

We work in an environment where you can be yourself, speak up freely, and genuinely influence the firm’s operation. Our partners remain in constant, direct contact with teams, which strengthens a culture of dialogue.

We work in the city centre – and close to each other

Our offices in the centre of Warsaw and Poznań are places designed with daily comfort in mind. We have breakout areas and huddle rooms that encourage the exchange of ideas.

Recruitment

Internships at WKB Lawyers

If you want to see what it’s like to work at a modern law firm, we invite you to do an internship at WKB Lawyers. You can choose between a year-round and a summer programme, both designed for students at different education stages.

KNOWLEDGE COMPETENCIES BUSINESS – your start into the future

The WKB Internship Programme is aimed at 4th or 5th year law students who want to learn law in practice and prove themselves in teamwork under the watchful eye of a supervisor.

The internships are paid and last three months (the programme is active all year). They take place in the Warsaw and Poznań offices. The best interns get the opportunity to continue cooperation after the programme ends.

This is a proposal for you if:

  • you are in the 4th or 5th year of full-time studies in law or law and economics,
  • you are available at least 3 days a week,
  • you can search for solutions, analyze, and think critically,
  • you are an ambitious, engaged, and open person,
  • you have an excellent command of spoken and written English (a second foreign language is an additional asset).

Why is it worthwhile?

  • Interns are involved in the ongoing work of teams. Each intern gains knowledge with the support of an intern supervisor – a lawyer who supports the intern in acquiring knowledge, shares their experience, and helps understand the specifics of work at a law firm.
  • Our programme stands out thanks to an extensive training offer. Interns attend dedicated classes and have the opportunity to participate in selected programmes organized for WKB lawyers.
  • The supervisor provides support, guidance at every stage of the internship and feedback on your progress

What does the recruitment process look like?
Stage 1: review of your CV and cover letter.
Stage 2: online knowledge test covering general legal knowledge and English language proficiency.
Stage 3: interview.

If this sounds like the right fit for you, learn more and apply today.

Summer Internships – summer vacation with WKB Lawyers

The summer internship programme lasts two intensive months, during which you will enhance your knowledge base. It’s an excellent opportunity to get to know yourself, your competencies, and make (good) decisions about your future career.

The programme takes place during the summer vacation in an on-site format at one of the WKB offices. Once the internship is completed, the participants receive individual feedback and the best performers are offered further cooperation. The internships are paid.

This is a proposal for you if:

  • you are in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of law studies,
  • you scored a grade point average above 4.0 in the last academic year,
  • you are ambitious, engaged and focused on development,
  • you have a good command of spoken and written English.

Why is it worthwhile?

  • The program stands out thanks to the opportunity to participate in thematic workshops, which provide a future lawyer with a broader perspective and a new look at the professional possibilities.
  • Each intern is supervised by a mentor who supports them in their daily work and ensures the improvement of practical skills.
  • The participants work with lawyers from various teams, which allows them to broaden their knowledge across several branches of law.
  • The interns engage in team-building meetings that foster connection with the team and understanding of WKB’s organizational culture.

What does the recruitment process look like?

  • Stage 1: review of your CV and cover letter.
  • Stage 2: written assignment, which allows us to better understand the candidate’s reasoning and their approach to challenges.
  • Stage 3: interview.
