Magdalena is a member of WKB Italian Desk. She assists Intellectual Property team, Public Procurement team and Infrastructure & PPP team, and also cooperates with M&A team.


She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She also studied at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome and completed an internship at Consorzio Nazionale Riscossioni in Rome, both as a part of the Erasmus scholarship. Magdalena also graduated from International Business and Trade Summer Program run by the Catholic University of America (Columbus School of Law) in cooperation with the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. She was awarded Cambridge International Legal English Certificate (ILEC) which demonstrates her knowledge of international legal English.


Magdalena specializes in Polish-Italian international relations, especially in providing legal advice for Italian entrepreneurs involved in cross-border trade with Poland.


She has vast experience in participating in court disputes involving international customers, especially Italian, and also in advising economic operators while concluding cross-border trade deals.


Member of the Associazione Internazionale Giuristi di Lingua Italiana (AIGLI) – international association of Italian-speaking lawyers, seated in Milan.



SELECTED EXPERIENCE


  • Participating in court proceedings that involved cross-border issues, especially in international trade disputes that involved sale of goods;
  • Providing legal advice for Italian entrepreneurs from: construction, industry, trade, fashion and sports sectors, on concluding cross-border trade deals and debt collection;
  • Providing advice for a Japanese company on completing an investment project and conducting a business activity in Poland;
  • A member of the team that advised on protection of exclusive rights to plants, which was a part of a project aimed to combat violations of property rights Italian fruit and vegetable producers hold.
