November 10th will mark the launch of the 26th edition of the CAMERIMAGE – the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography which will take place in Bydgoszcz. WKB law firm, already a long-standing partner of the CAMERIMAGE film festival, once again has the pleasure of supporting the organisers of the largest and most renowned festival dedicated specifically to the art of cinematography and its creators – cinematographers.

The CAMERIMAGE festival has grown to be an international week-long celebration of the film industry. Apart from screenings of the films nominated in the competition, there will be a number of accompanying events (including meetings with the filmmakers, various reviews and retrospectives, a wide variety of workshops and lectures, and industry-specific events).

In addition to the Main Competition, whose line-up this year includes films such as A star is born (directed by Bradley Cooper), Roma (directed by Alfonso Cuarón) and Zimna wojna (directed by Paweł Pawlikowski), the Festival also features other events such as the Student Etudes Competition, Polish Films Competition, Feature Debuts Competition, Music Videos Competition, and TV Pilots Competition..

Bydgoszcz has hosted the CAMERIMAGE – the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography since 1993. Its popularity and success significantly boost the prestige of cinematographers among the other creators inspired by the 10th muse. The event continues to prove to be an excellent forum not only for the presentation of new works, but also to discuss the future of cinematography. CAMERIMAGE also helps young filmmakers and students, and integrates the next generations with the community of those already recognised, allowing them to explore new artistic areas.

We are happy to again have the opportunity to support the organisers of such an important event for the cinema community.

For WKB, this year’s edition of the Festival is accompanied by another significant event – the release of the first issue of “FILMOWA”, a magazine about law and cinema, authored entirely by our lawyers. It will be distributed at all of the Festival’s locations, as well as available for download from our website (in Polish only).
