Responding to our clients’ needs, and utilising the rich experience of its experts in the field of capital markets and banking and finance, WKB Wierciński, Kwieciński, Baehr has established a specialised team of capital markets experts who are going to cater for the needs of issuers, investment companies, investment funds and other financial institutions, especially in relation to the issuing of financial instruments and undertaking other transactions in the capital market.

Led by Agata Szczepańczyk-Piwek, the reinforced team also advises clients on regulatory matters concerning public trading and capital market, including those regulations regarding the activities of investment companies. The team’s members also have experience in all manner of services connected with both public and private bond issues and mortgage bonds, as well as having served as consultants to investment fund companies and investment funds on all matters related to their business.

Within the areas of public share trading and legal services for companies listed on the stock exchange, our clients will continue to be advised by partners Marta Midloch and Jakub Jędrzejak.

The leader of the newly-formed team, Agata Szczepańczyk-Piwek, has been advising clients for over fourteen years in relation to capital markets, as well as banking and finance law (including private and public issues of debt instruments, public trading regulations, investment and asset management company activities, the notification obligations of the issuers of securities admitted to organised trading, and in transactions involving structural financing and asset securitisation). She has worked with WKB for over two years, and prior to that, she gained her experience working for an international law firm, as well as one of the leading Polish banks.

We believe that the greater specialisation of teams consisting of experts with a deep understanding of the needs of organisations active in a given sector is the most beneficial solution for our clients. We are pleased that the continuing advancement of our firm favours this strategy and allows us to meet market expectations,” said Jerzy Baehr, PhD, WKB’s Managing Partner.
